Recreation

Table Rock Lake:

Completed in 1959, contains 52,000 acres with nearly 750 miles of shoreline. The lake has been proclaimed as one of the three cleanest in the United States. Fishing for bass, crappie, catfish and a host of other game fish is a year round sport. Water sports are abundant. With a mild, year round climate, Table Rock is used 12 months every year. The lake never "freezes up," and you can leave your boat in the dock year round. Close by you will find Taneycomo Lake, famous for trout fishing; Bull Shoals Lake, known for years as one of the best striped bass lakes; and Beaver Lake, where most go just to relax, but fishing is very popular too. Don't like lake life? For folks who want something just a little different, we are located right in the middle of Mark Twain National Forest. With thousands of square miles of natural forest, these Ozarks Hills offer many streams and rivers for canoeing and floating and miles of nature trails for walking, camping and hiking or horseback riding. The natural beauty of the Ozarks is astounding. Several smaller, as well as world class, golf courses can be found close by.
